The clinical advancement program at St. Mary’ is designed to recognize and reward direct care nurses who are topo performers. The program also seeks to encourage all RNs to seek professional growth and encourage frontline staff to be involved in enhancing the quality of patient care and outcomes. Nurses who maintain or advance through the program complete an application process showing engagement in four different criteria including transformational leadership, structural empowerment, exemplary professional practice, and new knowledge or innovations. We congratulate Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine nurses Jennifer Blosser and Heather Hastings for earning their Clinical Nurse III for clinical competency.
