Outpatient Therapy is located in the St. Mary’s Joint and Spine Institute
Outpatient Therapy at St. Mary’s Medical Center Includes:
- Physical therapy — specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological treatment, gait and balance training, vestibular rehabilitation
- Occupational therapy — specializing in upper extremity orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological treatment and self-care training
- Speech therapy — specializing in communication, cognition and swallowing (dysphagia) rehabilitation including Vital Stimulation for dysphagia treatment.
Our Speech Therapy team evaluates and treats clients ranging from young adults to geriatric clients with a variety of conditions contributing to speech-language disorders, cognitive impairments and sequencing or memory problems. We also provide a revolutionary swallowing treatment, called VitalStim, that is proven to bring significant improvement in swallowing function.
